Sales Organizations : Hierarchy to Intelligence
A thought provoked from reading a recent Sequoia essay on organisational intelligence. The question it ends on lands hardest in the workflow I think about every day - Sales and Revenue Operations
Jack Dorsey and Roelof Botha published From Hierarchy to Intelligence a couple of weeks back - and I read it a couple of times. The thesis is that organisations themselves are about to change shape: that the layers of coordination we built through the twentieth century were compensating for a limit humans cannot exceed, and that AI can finally do the work those layers were invented to do.
